December 23, 2025, City of Hammond, LA – The Hammond Police Department is currently investigating several burglaries that occurred at the Entergy storage facility, located at 411 Pride Drive. Suspects gained entry into the secured facility during overnight hours by cutting through a chain link fence. They then proceeded to steal large amounts of spooled copper wire, valued at approximately $90,000.![]()
Entergy was able to provide several photos of a suspect, who appears to be a white male wearing a gray or khaki t-shirt and pants, black gloves, and a head and face covering.![]()

Suspects Sought in Discount Store Theft Investigation
ROSELAND (December 18, 2025)- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) needs the public’s help identifying and locating two suspects in a recent theft at a discount store.
On Thursday, December 4, two men entered the Dollar General store on Commercial Street in Roseland around 7 p.m. The men, seen in the attached surveillance images, presented the clerk with a fraudulent prepaid Visa card that they tricked her into transferring to a new prepaid Visa card worth $1,000.
Sheriff Gerald Sticker encourages anyone with information about who these suspects are, or their whereabouts, to contact Det. Earl McFarland at 985-514-8181 or 985-351-8942.
